Major Assignments
- Attend NASA Space Shuttle (and Space Station) Payload Safety Review Panel meetings, and construct meeting minutes and real-time action items as formal documentation of the discussions, conclusions, and mandates that occurred during those meetings
- Maintain graphic metrics of time-to-publish all PSRP minutes documents
Significant Accomplishments
- Produced formal minutes of meetings documents, with action items, that identified binding agreements between organizations who represented multinational government agencies, corporations, and research groups
- Tracked and graphically charted the times required to publish all minutes documents
- Developed new skills in developing a database application with Borland Paradox 3 for recording meeting dates, minutes publication dates, and providing an export file to feed a Harvard Graphics chart file
- Developed new skills in capturing the essence of conversational debates, discussions, and conclusions that occurred during meetings which lasted 1 hour to 1 week, with 5 to 50 attendees
- Developed new skills in cross-referencing technical, government, and military standards documentation
- Acquired new knowledge of the terminology and processes relevant to space flight operations and NASA agencies
- Acquired new knowledge of failure tolerant systems, and other principles and concepts relevant to safety engineering
- Increased knowledge of electronic, computer, and mechanical systems that comprised the various payloads of Space Shuttle experiments
